Adoptive transfer of Tregs: A novel strategy for cell-based immunotherapy in spontaneous abortion: Lessons from experimental models

چکیده
Since half of the genes are inherited from paternal side, maternal immune system has to tolerate presence foreign antigens. Regulatory T cells facilitate development and maintenance peripheral tissue tolerance fetus during pregnancy. Reduction in regulatory is associated with complications pregnancy, including spontaneous abortion. Recent studies mouse models have shown that adoptive transfer Tregs can prevent abortion through improving tolerance. Thus, cell therapy using autologous could potentially be a novel therapeutic approach for cell-based immunotherapy women unexplained Besides, strategies activating expanding antigen-specific ex vivo based on pharmacological agents pave foundation an incorporating pharmacotherapy. This review aims elaborate current understanding potential treatment disease.

Effectiveness of Leukocyte Immunotherapy in Primary Recurrent Spontaneous Abortion (RSA)
Background: Recurrent spontaneous abortion (RSA) is defined as three or more se-quential abortions before the twentieth week of gestation. There are evidences to sup-port an allo-immunologic mechanism for RSA. One of the methods for treatment of RSA is leukocyte therapy; however there is still controversy about effectiveness of this method. Objectives: To evaluate the effectiveness of leukocyte...
متن کاملT-cell-based Immunotherapy: Adoptive Cell Transfer and Checkpoint Inhibition.
Tumor immunotherapy has had demonstrable efficacy in patients with cancer. The most promising results have been with T-cell-based therapies. These include adoptive cell transfer of tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes, genetically engineered T cells, and immune checkpoint inhibitor antibodies. In this review, we describe the different T-cell-based strategies currently in clinical trials and put their...
متن کاملODE models for adoptive immunotherapy
Modified T cells that have been engineered to recognize the CD19 surface marker have recently been shown to be very successful at treating acute lymphocytic leukemias. Here we explore four previous approaches that have used ordinary differential equations to the model this type of therapy, compare their properties, and modify the models to address their deficiencies. Although the four models tr...
متن کاملAdoptive cell transfer as personalized immunotherapy for human cancer.
Adoptive cell therapy (ACT) is a highly personalized cancer therapy that involves administration to the cancer-bearing host of immune cells with direct anticancer activity. ACT using naturally occurring tumor-reactive lymphocytes has mediated durable, complete regressions in patients with melanoma, probably by targeting somatic mutations exclusive to each cancer. These results have expanded the...
